About THE GATHERING PLACE
We are a non-profit, donation based, volunteer driven charity that provides 14 hot meals a week, five breakfast, five lunches and four evening meals. We also produce vegetables from our community garden, and are involved in food rescue that rescues over 12 thousand pounds of usable food a month and distributes it to other non-profits, food banks and meal programs within the district. We operate the Good Food Box, and outreach office for other agencies, medical and dental supports, and during the summer operate a Teen Lunch outreach program providing over a hundred bagged lunches to youth weekly.
