About KARIS DISABILITY SERVICES
Since 1965, Karis Disability Services (formerly Christian Horizons) has worked together with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to recognize each person’s unique gifts, and nurture communities where everybody belongs. More than 3,000 people use Karis Disability Services across Ontario and Saskatchewan. Karis is dedicated to supporting each person in body, mind, soul, and spirit. Inspired by our faith, Karis Disability Services welcomes and comes alongside people with the personalized support they need to belong and live their best lives. Locally, in communities in and surrounding North Bay, we support over 200 people. Our global work has positively impacted over 300,000 people in more than 60 communities around the world.
