Born and raised in North Bay, Kennedy is excited to be back in the city after completing her Business Degree at Georgian College in Barrie. Kennedy is passionate about helping small businesses in the community. This passion started in 2018, when she started her career as an intern at The Business Centre (TBC) running the Summer Company Program. Here she is 3 years later; Kennedy is now the Program and Event Coordinator at TBC and is actively involved with the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce as Chair of the Young Professional Committee.
In her free time, Kennedy enjoys the outdoors, teaching spin classes at Rev Cycle, and spending time with family, friends and her dog Tikka!
Kennedy’s goals with YP are to create a fun and welcoming environment for youth, help youth transition into their new career through mentorship, encourage and engage individuals to step outside their comfort zone to participate in YP initiative through networking, and to increase the YP membership.
