Mathieu graduated from Laurentian University in 2004 with an Honors Bachelor in Business Administration, with a specialization in Sports Administration. After graduation, he completed contracts with both the Montreal Expos, as well as Hockey Canada. In 2005, he returned to his hometown of North Bay and joined the Ontario public service.
Mathieu joined Caisse Populaire North Bay on June 1st, 2015 as Director of Wealth Management and Personal finances and leads a strong team of personal lenders and Financial Advisors. Mathieu has been granted admission into the MBA program at Laurentian University starting this September.
Mathieu is also involved in the community having recently completed his 4th season as an Assistant Coach with the local Midget AAA Trappers. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family as well as playing golf.
