Congratulations Kendra Clarke – our YP of the month for November 2014

Picture1My name is Kendra Clarke and I am the Major Gift Officer at the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation. Seventeen years ago my family was posted in North Bay with the military and I have been proud to call this town home ever since.

After high school, I pursued a BSc honours in Biology and Anthropology from Trent University in Peterborough. Returning home to North Bay in 2010, I was introduced to a career in fundraising with North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation. Completing an internship during Seeing More Clearly: A campaign for an MRI and more, I found the NBRHC Foundation was natural fit, being a girl who organized food and toy drives at my elementary school. I later earned a post-graduate certificate in Fundraising & Resource Development from Georgian College and I have recently returned to the NBRHC Foundation in the role of Major Gift Officer.

With a passion for traveling, I travelled to Southeast Asia for several months, completing all of my Scuba Diver training and working as a student Dive Master.

I have also started my own home-based business as an Independent Consultant with Arbonne International, where I help educate about skincare and cosmetic ingredients. Most recently I joined the Rotaract Club of North Bay-Nipissing and have become an active member in the Young Professionals with the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce.
