Erika is a graduate of the Hotel, Resort and Restaurant Management program at Canadore College. Through her time the hospitality field she started as a hostess working her way up to her current role as Executive Housekeeper with The Hampton Inn By Hilton North Bay. In college she was provided with an opportunity to move to Lake Louise, Alberta for a summer and work with a globally recognized resort “The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise” whereas she was able to get hands on experience in the field in a fast paced diverse environment.
Erika can often be seen helping out her fellow co-workers by providing a listening ear to all staff, helping out at the front desk when needed and helping to head our Social Committee.
Each year at Christmas time she reaches out to the Coach for Food program and leads the holiday food drive with the Hotel. Due to her commitment with the drive we have been able to gather over 1000 pounds of food to donate on behalf of the hotel through Coach for Food to the food bank.
Erika’s potential in the hospitality field is limitless. She has acquired experience and has proven herself to be dedicated to the field. She is constantly on a mission to learn new roles and ideas to help improve herself and move forward. She’s a great asset to the industry and to our hotel.
