The winners per category are:

New Business of the Year – One Red Maple

Not-for-Profit of the Year – NECO Community Futures Development Corporation

Young Professional of the Year – Kennedy Horton

Small Business of the Year (1-5 employees) – Adoro Olive Oils & Vinegars

Small Business of the Year (6-15 employees) – Cooper Equipment Rentals

Business of the Year – Canadian Tire North Bay

“This Evening of Excellence was extra special as we were able to celebrate the businesses and individuals who have demonstrated leadership, community involvement and success” said Peter Chirico, President and CEO of the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce. “Considering what the business community has endured over the last 2 years, shining a spotlight on the nominees, winners and all businesses in our district was well deserved” added Chirico.

The North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce also presented the annual Betty Alcorn Memorial Award for director of the year to Kayode Olabisi. “This award is presented annually to a director of the board who best exemplified dedication and diligence to the board,” said Rebecca McGlynn, Chair of the NBDCC Board. “Kayode has been a great addition to the Chamber Board and we look forward to his future contributions,” added McGlynn.

The Evening of Excellence is proudly sponsored by Bell, Canadore College, Get Trained Workers, Kennedy Insurance Brokers and The Business Centre of Nipissing Parry Sound. “Without our great sponsors, who contribute time and time again, events like this wouldn’t be possible. Thank you on behalf of the business community for your continued support,” said Chirico.

The North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce congratulate all the nominees and winners and wishes the business community continued success for 2022
