CONGRATULATIONS EMILY RYAN! Emily is a graduate from both Nipissing University and Canadore College where she studied Business Administration with a focus on Organizational Studies. Emily moved to North Bay in 2008 from a small town in Southern Ontario to pursue her post-secondary education. She fell in love with Northern Ontario and decided to begin her career here!
Emily is the Entrepreneurial Outreach Coordinator at Innovation Initiatives Ontario North (IION). IION is one of 17 Regional Innovation Centres across Ontario and works with innovative entrepreneurs and small-medium sized enterprises. Emily has various responsibilities within IION including providing advisory services to clients, leading the Innovative Manufacturing and Facilitation Program, doing community outreach as well as working closely with the ecosystem partners.
When not working, Emily enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
